In order to present the Annual Report in a timelier fashion the Foundation will begin reporting based on the calendar year rather than the Foundation\u2019s fiscal year. This year\u2019s Annual Report is based on an 18 month report, July 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012.<\/i><\/p>\n

In 2011, the Foundation entered the \u201cpublic phase\u201d of the Capital Campaign and the response has been nothing less than incredible. In the 18 month period ending December 31, 2012, the Foundation received $1,628,825.63 in donations highlighted by contributions from the Carl Dedmon Family. Additionally, the Foundation received $1,612,739.00 in pledges to the Capital Campaign. The Foundations\u2019 Board of Directors established an endowed scholarship in honor of Severne Budd recognizing her 20 year career in the Development Office.<\/p>\n

Designated gifts to the Campaign have provided the opportunity for the Foundation to assist the College with extensive landscaping and signage around campus, including two electronic message boards, one each at the East Marion Street and South Post Road entrances to campus.<\/p>\n

LeGrand Center Opens to Glowing Reviews<\/b><\/p>\n

The historic collaborative project between the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners, Cleveland County Board of Education and the Cleveland Community College Foundation has come to fruition with the completion of the LeGrand Center. Highlights of the 84,000 square foot facility include:<\/p>\n

Grand Ballroom & Conference Area with 20,000 square foot meeting and exhibit space<\/p>\n
