I am currently on track to graduate Shelby High School with 42 college credits from Cleveland Community College. Taking CCP classes while in high school will help my parents save a lot of money when I go off to college in the fall. Taking CCP classes has helped me see what college classes will be like while still in high school. I am currently enrolled in the Criminal Justice certificate program and I will graduate from CCC in May with my Criminal Justice Certificate. Having this opportunity to walk at CCC and at my high school in the same year is amazing.

My name is Emma Ware. I am a senior at Shelby High School. Throughout my high school career, I have benefitted tremendously from CCP courses provided through CCC. I have obtained over 30 college credit hours through these courses. CCP classes combine challenging curriculum with cooperative professors. I feel like CCP classes have prepared me for continuing my education at Appalachian State University!

What I like about CCP classes is the fact that they are the exact same as taking regular high school classes but there are so many more positives to it. Instead of going to college and being overlooked in a class of over 100 people you can take the same classes in high school and receive more one-on-one help and understand it even better. These classes have helped me get a feel for how independent I will have to be and also the steps it takes to be successful. My plans are to graduate high school with my associate degree and go to college for some type of criminal justice.

The CCP experience has been very beneficial to me. It has allowed me to get the college credit I needed while taking classes I enjoy. The CCP have challenged me and taught me how to keep up with everything I need to do. I plan to attend North Carolina State University in the fall of 2018 and plan to major in Business Administration. I would encourage everybody to take CCP classes.
